ABOUT ME

Latina Geek GirlStefanie Contreras is a Latinx author, geek girl, one-half of the Pop Culture Junkees podcast, an officer with Geek Girl Brunch and a volunteer with both WriteHive and Quill and Crow Publishing.
She was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and graduated with an M.S. in Communications from the University of Oregon and a B.S. in both Journalism and Advertising from Northern Arizona University. Growing up as an avid life-long reader and fan of sci-fi, fantasy, and YA, Stefanie published The Merry Maids trilogy on Amazon - and is now working on a new fiction series featuring Latinx superheroes. She also has two published short stories, The Warlock and the Crow (Rituals & Grimoires anthology) and Pestilence (Autumn Nights anthology). When she’s not reading or writing, she’s probably making TikToks, plotting her next comicon cosplay, or pinning new recipes on Pinterest.
